KORY MINGUS
Kory's theatrical experience started in Tübingen,
Germany in 1992 with the role of Bellair in
Charles Macklin's "A Will And No Will". This
play was put on by the Anglo-Irish Theatre Group
founded in 1980 to explore the length, breadth
and depth of Irish drama written in the English
language. This was quickly followed by taking on
the role of Barnett Lloyd in "Crimes Of The
Heart" performed by the Provisional Players, a
theater group based in Tübingen and putting on
American plays exclusively. The open road,
finishing college, which in 1998 included taking
acting classes regarding the principles of
acting under the tutelage of Instructor Marcia
Fredricks and auditioning with Instructors Gigi
Steyers and Tom Gough, and starting a new career
took up the time before Kory's next theatrical
excursion. In 1999 as Snout, the Tinker in "A
Midsummer Night's Dream" performed by San Jose's
Northside Theater.

LEN SHAFFER
Len Shaffer has been seen throughout the Bay
Area as an actor, singer, piano/keyboard player
and songwriter. He has been in several
independent films, including The Last Innocent
Summer, The Clock Strikes Twice, and Fred's Lot
and Cult.
Favorite theatrical roles have included Vernon
in They're Playing Our Song, George in Same
Time, Next Year, the Narrator in Side by Side by
Sondheim, Curly in Oklahoma, Tony in West Side
Story, Dad in Cheaper by the Dozen, and Abner in
L'il Abner. He has worked with the Mountain Play
and the Willows Theatre, and was in the world
premiere musical A Time for Courage, based on
Charles Dickens' A Tale of Two Cities, which
played at the Regional Center for the Arts in
Walnut Creek.
His musical experience has included stints as a
vocalist, keyboard player and songwriter with
the Bay Area rock bands Invazion, The Cleavers,
Nine Lives and OCD. He also served as the
executive director, musical director and a
five-year member of the University of Kansas
show choir, The Jayhawk Singers, and he is
currently a member of the a cappella doo-wop
group, The Starry Knights.
NICOLA CHIPPS
Ms. Chipps appeared in the CBS Fall 1999 Pilot
"Partners". In addition to her regular
performances in Bay Area theaters, Ms. Chipps
performs voice over for CD-Roms and for
educational videos. She also teaches acting
workshops for children.
