Hari Mahesh -
Director/Producer
Mahesh, a native of Madras,
India has lived in the U.S.
since 1988. Mahesh has been
in film production since
1995 and has created several
short works. He has also
appeared in one independent
production in the U.S. and
has close ties with TV and
film producers in India.
"Cult" is his first feature
length film and it has been
accepted into New York
International Independent
Film and Video Festival.
Mahesh was a featured guest
at the monthly IMAGE

Rebecca Sanders -
Screenwriter/PA
Palo
Alto screenwriter Rebecca
Sanders, has written five
scripts and currently has
four more in various stages
of development. CULT which
premiered June 4, 2000 in
San Jose, CA is her first
produced script. Ms. Sanders
wrote the 90 minute script
based on ideas created by
San Jose filmmaker Hari
Mahesh. CULT, shot entirely
in digital video, was
referenced in the national
magazine Entertainment
Weekly, 06/16/00 in an
article about digital
filmmaking. Ms. Sanders and
Mr. Mahesh have appeared as
guests on two local cable
television programs in San
Jose Hello Hollywood and
Echoes of India, which was
aired on June 27, 2000. Mr.
Mahesh and Ms. Sanders are
collaborating on a second
project to be directed and
produced by Mr. Mahesh and
written by Ms. Sanders.
Another one of Ms. Sanders'
script JOY of SHOPPING
premiered as a staged
performance with ten actors
on March 29, 2000 at the
Cubberley Community Center
in Palo Alto. Ms. Sanders has studied
screenwriting with Cammie
McGovern, then a Jones
Fellow at Stanford
University's prestigious
Creative Writing Department
now a writer living in
Connecticut and with Erika
Szantos a Hungarian
screenwriter now teaching at
San Francisco State
University. Ms. Sanders has
also studied Creative
Writing with Cupertino-based
writer Bo Caldwell, who at
the time was also a Jones
Fellow at Stanford
University. Ms. Sanders
received her undergraduate
degree in Government from
Harvard College in
Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Tim Stilson- Director of
Photography
"CULT" is Mr. Stilson's
first screen credit. He is
also a cinematographer for
"Cathy Morgan" a Bay
Area-based independent film
currently in production
David Sorokach- Gaffer.
Mr. Sorokach is currently a
manager at Cable Public
Access Channel 6 in Palo
Alto. He has directed a
variety of Studio Projects
and has worked on several
independent productions in
the Bay Area.
Horace Wilson - PA
Mr. Wilson is a graduate of
the American Film
Institute's screenwriting
program. He has written a
thirteen-episode television
series in the Caribbean, the
first long running drama
series ever done in that
region. He also wrote a
thirty-nine episode series,
also in the
Caribbean. Mr. Wilson wrote
and produced a feature film,
which was shown at several
festivals around the world.
He wrote, produced and
directed a six episode
Mini-series. The mini-series
was commissioned and funded
by the European Economic
Community (EEC), and dealt
with a family coming to
grips with the medical
realities and social
dimensions of AIDS. The
mini-series was aired in
more than twenty countries
