Hari Mahesh - Director/Producer

Hari Mahesh has completed two feature films, CULT (2000) and LOVE (2003).  Hari has been awarded a special citation by the mayor of San Jose for his work on LOVE.  Both films were shown at the New York Independent Film and Video Festivals.  LOVE was distributed through Tower Records and Netflix.  Hari has studied directing at UCLA with Judy Weston, Jacqui Frost and Kenneth Johnson and at DeAnza College Film and TV Department in San Jose.

 

 

 

Rebecca Sanders - Producer

Rebecca Sanders wrote two scripts for Smera Productions (LOVE and CULT) and is experienced as an Assistant Director and Script Supervisor.  She currently has a script under option.  Another of her scripts was a finalist in last year's Hollywood Symposium Screenplay contest and another in this year's Scriptapalooza Contest.  Rebecca is a reader for the Gotham Screenplay Competition and on staff with the American Screenwriting Association.       

 

 

 

Cinematographer - Mahesh Aney

Mr. Aney won the National Film Award 2004, for internationally acclaimed SWADES.  He has worked extensively in television and film with thousands of projects to his credit. http://www.maheshaney.com/

Music Composer - Mano Murthy

Mr. Murthy won the prestigious Chennai Film Association Award for Best Music Director in 2003 for his work on PREETI PREMAYA PRENAYA.  The film won the National Award that same year. Mano has been involved in the Kannada film industry for the past eight years and has now started to work in Hindi (Bollywood) films. Most recently he composed for “Apradh” (Director by Sanjay Khanna) and “Golmaal” (Director by Sangeet Sivan).

 

 

 

Production Designer- Nitin Chandrakant Desai

Mr. Desai has won four National Awards for Best Art Director including his work on LAGAAN (Oscar nominee, 2001.) His credits include THE PIANO, HOLY SMOKE, JUNGLE BOOK and SWADES.  He was nominated for a Genie Award for his work on the Canadian film, SUCH A LONG JOURNEY. http://www.nitindesaionline.com

Costume Designer - Lovleen Bains
